Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. Ability and desire to become a registered professional engineer is desired.
- 1-3 years of experience in similar mechanical design projects is preferred. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety laws is a plus.

Job Description

- Experience with computer-aided drafting systems and Microsoft Office products is required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
- The position requires collaborating with design team members as well as independent work when required.
- Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal history including misdemeanors and felonies
Duties Include
- Analysis, design, and specification of building heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and plumbing systems.
- Ability in the fields of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer is required.
- Travel to project sites and client meetings.
- Communicate well and work closely within a multi-discipline office.
- Use of computer-aided drafting systems and Microsoft Office products are required. Experience with Autodesk Revit is preferred.
Architectural Technician

Job Description

- Proficiency in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Engage with staff and some consultant contact
- Good positive interaction with colleagues and clients is very important
- Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal history including misdemeanors and felonies
Duties Include
- Draft in Autodesk Revit
- Create base documents from existing blueprints
- Create working drawings and construction documents from preliminary hand or computer sketches
- Communicate well and work closely with multiple project managers to perform drafting of accurate drawing packages
- Correct marked up drawings
- Review shop drawings and submittals and respond to RFIs (if requested)
- Prepare site observation reports
- Attend client meetings
