A comprehensive series of improvements across the Baugo Community Schools campus has revitalized Jimtown High School, Junior High, and Elementary School. The project scope included a new addition dedicated to the band program, significant renovations of existing locker rooms, and the transformation of a former shop area at the Junior High into a modern cafeteria. Safety and administration were also prioritized through the reconfiguration of secure entrances and new office suites at both the Elementary and Junior High buildings. Beyond the building envelopes, site improvements introduced a new polyurethane track, a dedicated band practice lot, and a reconfigured campus entrance designed to improve overall traffic flow.

The project primarily focused on renewing existing campus buildings, which required navigating the complexities of updating mechanical and electrical systems within aging structures. To ensure the band program’s new addition and the various interior renovations met modern standards, the design and construction had to be meticulously phased. This allowed work to progress safely and efficiently while students and staff occupied the buildings immediately adjacent to the construction zones.

The results of these efforts demonstrate a more efficient use of existing square footage to meet contemporary educational needs. The band program now benefits from a flexible, open addition, while the updated locker rooms facilitate better team collaboration and enhanced supervision. Additionally, the relocated and reconfigured office spaces have significantly improved both administrative functionality and building security. These campus-wide updates ensure that Baugo Community Schools can provide a safe, modern, and high-performing environment for its students.
