Danville North Elementary underwent a comprehensive renovation and expansion designed to improve safety, comfort, and flexibility for students and staff. The project added a secure new entry sequence, expanded restroom facilities, and a multipurpose classroom that supports the school’s growing after-school programs. Inside, nearly every space was refreshed—classrooms received new flooring and wall finishes, ceilings were replaced, and updated LED lighting and modern HVAC controls enhanced energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

The unique geometry of the existing building required a careful approach to seamlessly integrate the new addition. Construction was phased to keep the school fully operational throughout, minimizing disruption to students and staff.

Today, the multipurpose classroom provides a dedicated home for enrichment programs conveniently located near parent pickup. The new entry reinforces building security, while the modernized finishes, lighting, and systems throughout the facility give the school a bright, cohesive, and enduring update that will serve Danville’s students for years to come.
