Huntington County Community Learning Center

BCV collaborated with United Way, WorkONE, industry partners, and local colleges to expand the Huntington County Learning Center, creating a hub for advanced education and workforce development. The facility now houses classrooms and labs for programs including advanced manufacturing, welding, robotics, building trades, nursing, EMT/CNA, criminal justice, automotive, as well as Impact Institute and Alternative Education.

The rapid growth of programs and student interest created the need for a second expansion in 2021. BCV worked closely with community and industry partners to ensure the facility met a wide range of educational and workforce goals, while designing with flexibility in mind to accommodate future expansions despite rising construction costs.

The completed Learning Center provides high school students and adults with access to dual credit courses, industry certifications, and hands-on training that prepares them for high-paying careers immediately after graduation. Key areas of the building were structurally reinforced, and an open floor plan allows for future expansion to the south, ensuring the facility can continue to evolve as community needs grow.
