This Career and Technical Education (CTE) project involved the renovation of approximately 19,500 square feet of existing space across two buildings on the Plymouth High School campus. Designed to serve students from Plymouth and the broader Marshall County Career Innovation Center cooperative, the project focused on transforming underutilized areas into high-impact learning environments. The Plymouth Community School Corporation’s primary goal was to establish a local hub for highly sought-after CTE programs by strategically recapturing and repurposing existing square footage within the high school.

The project required a deep level of coordination to ensure the renovated spaces met the specialized technical requirements of various vocational disciplines. By working closely with local staff, administrators, partners from the Marshall County Career Innovation Center, and local business leaders, the design team developed a series of robust yet flexible environments. These spaces were specifically tailored to house programs for culinary arts, advanced manufacturing, veterinary sciences, construction trades, and early childhood education.

The completed renovations provide students with modern, industry-aligned facilities that bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness. By revitalizing underused portions of the campus, the district has successfully maximized its existing assets to create a versatile home for specialized training. These new labs and instructional spaces now support the school corporation’s mission to provide diverse, local career pathways for students throughout Marshall County.
