Triton Junior-Senior High School
Indoor Athletics
- Three Basketball Court Field house
- Wrestling Room
- New Locker Rooms
Triton Jr/Sr High School needed a new activities center that could expand athletic and physical education opportunities for grades 7–12. The addition includes three basketball courts—one sized for official competition with wood bleachers—along with new locker rooms and a dedicated wrestling room. The design focused on creating a versatile, high-use environment that supports daily PE classes, team practices, and community events.
Working within a very limited budget was the core challenge. The corporation needed a facility large enough to host multiple activities at once without compromising quality or long-term durability. The design team approached the project with efficiency and flexibility in mind, ensuring that every square foot served a clear purpose and that the addition tied seamlessly into the existing building.
Today, Triton Jr/Sr High School benefits from a highly functional fieldhouse capable of supporting ticketed events while also allowing for simultaneous team practices. The addition connects directly to existing event entrances, concessions, and restrooms, enhancing the overall event experience and complementing the school’s primary competition spaces.
