Media Centers
The days of the silent, rows-of-books school library have evolved. Today, the media center serves as a dynamic, high-tech hub for independent research, hands-on collaboration, and digital learning. We design flexible media centers that balance quiet study areas with collaborative zones, interactive technology labs, and maker spaces. By incorporating modular furniture, clear sightlines, and plenty of natural light, we create inviting environments that inspire curiosity and adapt to changing educational needs. Take a look at our portfolio to see how we transform traditional libraries into modern centers for exploration and discovery.
Carroll High School
As part of a major campus expansion, this project features a new 8,400-square-foot media center designed to replace the traditional library layout. The dynamic, sunlit space blends flexible collaboration zones with quiet study areas and integrated technology, creating a high-tech resource hub that adapts daily to the district’s evolving learning needs.
Leo Jr/Sr High School
Moving away from traditional layouts, the complete overhaul of Leo Jr-Sr High School’s media center created a versatile environment tailored to self-directed learning. The design introduces flexible, small-group collaboration zones while integrating modern finishes and energy-efficient lighting to bridge the gap between the building’s historical additions.
